On March 8, 2025, the Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF) marked International Women’s Day by celebrating the remarkable achievements of women in cybersecurity, digital forensics, law enforcement, technology, and innovation. Shikha Goel, IPS

Shikha Goel, an IPS officer and DGP CID, has been a stalwart in cybercrime prevention and digital forensics for nearly three decades. As the Director of the TG Cyber Security Bureau and the Women Safety Wing, she has spearheaded initiatives to combat online fraud and financial crimes. Her leadership extends beyond cyber enforcement; she has secured VIPs, including U.S. President Bill Clinton, and has overseen critical security operations across India. Goel’s commitment to citizen-centric policing and innovation in digital security continues to drive modernization in law enforcement.

K.G.V. Saritha, IPS

Currently serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Vijayawada, K.G.V. Saritha has extensive experience in cybercrime investigation. Previously, as Superintendent of Police for the Women Protection Cell, she played a pivotal role in addressing cyber-enabled crimes against women and children. Her commendable efforts in monitoring Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) cases and enhancing law enforcement training have ensured justice and public safety in the digital age.

PD Nitya

A 2016 batch IPS officer, PD Nitya currently serves as the Senior Superintendent of Police in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir. Her leadership in uncovering the Kendriya Vidyalaya teachers’ recruitment online examination scam exemplifies her commitment to integrity in law enforcement. In Pulwama, she established the Cyber Crime Unit Cell, which has significantly contributed to recovering money lost to online scams, reinforcing public trust in law enforcement.

Tulika Pandey

As a Senior Director at the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Tulika Pandey has over 33 years of experience in Electronics and Communication. A pioneer in India’s Internet Governance initiatives, she has played a crucial role in shaping policies for the National Internet Exchange and cybersecurity R&D. Recognized as one of India’s top 20 influential Cyber Warriors, her contributions to national cybersecurity advancements are invaluable.

Dr. Lavina Sinha

Dr. Lavina Sinha, a 2017-batch IPS officer, serves as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime) in Ahmedabad City. Transitioning from a medical background, she has tackled complex cyber fraud cases, including a significant incident where a senior citizen was defrauded of ₹79 lakh. NS Nappinai
